Playing together at a table with real cards is different! Nevertheless, the digital version has its advantages and right to exist.

Quick Matches

Starting a round in PTCGL, including card draw and coin toss, takes about 1 minute, much faster than starting a real round. There is no need to shuffle the cards and searching for cards is easier.

Our tip: Check your Battle Pass goals before the round. Use the start phase to refocus on your goals, your deck and your strategies.

Deck Development

Putting together a real deck of Pokémon takes time and money. If you just want to try something out quickly and test it in games against a variety of different decks, the PTCGL is the right choice.

Our tip: Decks are easier to edit on the computer. Self-made (proxy) cards are another way to play decks that you don't have in real cards.

Training

For newcomers to the trading card game, the PTCGL is a good way to learn the rules quickly and effectively.

If you want to play Pokémon competitively, internalising the deck is a very important component. In tournaments, you play a lot of rounds at best and the later the day, the more painful the mistakes you make. With the help of the PTCGL, you can gain experience against a wide variety of decks and players in order to be better prepared for your next battles.
